Occasionally I run into a situation where I can use php but have no access to a MySQL database. In those instances, I use a flat-file database called Gladius DB. While it is a useful application for a MySQL-style database, it is not very user-friendly. The developer left many of the sections incomplete in the user documentation and most functions have to have a custom script written and saved to the server to perform even basic functions.

This project is a user interface similar to phpMyAdmin for MySQL but specifically built for Gladius DB. A change of a configuration file will point it to a users implementation and they can add/drop tables, insert data and run queries on the tables within the database.
